Gel or juice from aloe leaves. Decolorized means the latex layer has been filtered out.

Watched ingredients get highlighted on every product panel you open.

Where it comes from
Aloe farms, pressed and filtered.
Why it's in the product
Soothing agent in shampoos and topical products.
Safety and toxicity
Topically safe and well tolerated. Ingested aloe latex (the yellow layer under the skin) is a harsh laxative and is toxic to pets, which is exactly why decolorized or inner-leaf-only versions exist. On a shampoo panel this is not an ingestion risk, though dogs do lick themselves.
